Jamie Vardy is a soccer player playing for Leicester City FC.
Career
Sheffield-born Vardy spent time at Sheffield Wednesday in his youth but was released as a 16-year-old. He moved on Stocksbridge, Halifax Town and Fleetwood Town, the latter where he was prolific.
In May 2012, Vardy joined Championship club Leicester City on a £1 million pound deal - a then non-League record. Vardy starred for Leicester as they won the 2013-14 Championship table and earned promotion to the Premier League.

Vardy has since established himself as an England international and Premier League star, winning the league’s Golden Boot in 2019-20 too.
