Baseball pass

In basketball, a Baseball Pass is a type of pass where the player throws the ball with one hand using an overhand motion, similar to how a baseball pitcher throws a pitch.

This pass is typically used when a player needs to quickly move the ball a long distance down the court or generate more power behind their throw.

To execute a baseball pass, the player brings the ball behind their head with one hand, then steps forward with the opposite foot as they throw the ball. This technique allows for greater accuracy and velocity compared to a standard chest or bounce pass.

Baseball passes are especially useful for making long outlet passes after a rebound or when attempting to beat a full-court press defense.
