Carlos Tevez is an Argentina international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Manchester City. He plays as a striker and is rated as one of the best in the world in his position.
Tevez commenced his professional club football career at Boca Juniors in 2001 and after three successful years joined Brazilian powerhouse Corinthians. Tevez was hugely successful there too, and after two years made the leap to Europe to play for West Ham United in 2006.
Tevez helped the Hammers stave off relegation at the end of the 2006-07 campaign and signed for Manchester United. Once again he proved himself to be a key player, as he won the Premier League and the Champions League with the Red Devils.
In 2009 Tevez made the controversial move to cross-city rivals Manchester City and has made himself a popular and important player at Eastlands. He won the FA Cup with the Citizens in 2011 and the Premier League in 2011-12.
Tevez made his international debut for Argentina in 2004 and has played in over 50 matches for his nation.
