Ashley Simon Young is a England international football player who currently features for the English and European powerhouse Manchester United. He plays as a winger and is rated as one of the best in Europe in his position.
Young commenced his professional football career with Watford in 2003 under the management of Ray Lewington. He played for the Vicarage Road club until 2007, scoring 19 goals in 98 league appearances.
In January 2009, Young joined Aston Villa for a transfer fee of £8 million and established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League. The winger scored 30 goals in 157 league appearances for the Villans and was snapped up by Manchester United in June 2011 for a transfer fee reported to be between £15 million and £20 million.

Young quickly settled into life at Old Trafford and became one of the more important players in Sir Alex Ferguson’s team. He played a key role in the Red Devils’ 2012-13 Premier League-winning campaign.
Young made his international debut for England in 2007 and played for the Three Lions at Euro 2012.
