James Maddison is a soccer player playing for Tottenham Hotspur. He is an England international attacking midfielder.
Club Career
Maddison began his career with Coventry City, but made his name at Norwich City, where he won the club’s Player of the Season in 2017-18. He was also named in the EFL Team of the Season and the PFA’s Championship Team of the Year for 2017-18 and nominated for the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season.
Interest soon came for Maddison who was signed by Leicester City in June 2018 on a five-year deal for 20 million pounds. He was awarded Leicester’s Young Player of the Season in his debut campaign. He also helped the Foxes win the 2021 FA Cup.

In June 2023, Tottenham signed Maddison on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee. He started strong and was named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for August 2023.
International Career
Maddison represented England at Under-21 level but made his full international debut in 2019 against Montenegro.
He was part of England’s 2022 World Cup squad in Qatar but didn’t play. He was named in a provisional squad for Euro 2024 but missed the final cut.
