Eden Hazard is a young Belgium international football player who currently features for the English and European giants Chelsea. He can play either as an attacking midfielder or a winger and is rated as one of the best young footballers in the world.
Hazard initially developed at the youth academy of Royal Stade Brainois between 1995 and 2003, after which he joined Tubize. In 2005, he joined Lille and after training in their youth set-up for two years was made part of the first team in 2007.
Hazard quickly established himself as a key player for Lille and was instrumental in them winning the Ligue 1 title in 2010-11 and the Coupe de France that same season. He won the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Year award in 2010-11 and 2011-12 and the UNFP Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year in 2008-09 and 2009-10.
In the summer of 2012, Chelsea signed Hazard from Lille for a reported £32 million transfer zone. Hazard scored 36 goals in 147 league appearances for the French club and was an instant hit in the Premier League in the 2012-13 campaign.
Hazard made his international debut for Belgium against Luxembourg in November 2008 and has played in over 30 matches for his country so far.
