Younus Khan
Mohammad Younus Khan is a professional Pakistan cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team. He is a right handed batsman and an occasional right arm medium leg break bowler.
Before his introduction to the international cricket Younus played for the Habib National Bank and has represented the Nottinghamshire County in England in the year 2005. Younus played his first ever international game in February 2000 against Sri Lanka at Karachi. His performance was considerable in the initial stages but started declinig and came to halt for a certain span of time.
Although Pakistan performed very poorly at the 2003 World cup, Younus was still a part of the team in the following cricket seasons. But he was only selected for the one day side and not the test side. After showing drastic improvement he was called for the test team in 2004 where he played as an opening batsman against the Sri Lankan team. He was the top run scorer for the Pakistan team but the team eventually lost the series by 3-0 against Australia. In the final test he scored 267 runs.
