Los Angeles Clippers Kawhi Leonard made a significant 45-point to beat the Dallas Mavericks in their concluding Game 7 with a score of 104-97.

Leonard, who’s recently a free agent, still wanted to play one more time for this season.

For the first time in NBA history, all six games in the Mavericks and Clippers were won by the Away team. In Game 7, Reggie Jackson performed an incredible 25 points, as both teams were tied 3-3 on Friday, and Paul George came in with 20 points, as they have begun to move forward in the third quarter. Game 7 will determine who will proceed to the next round.

Meanwhile, Leonard was merciless in this game, as he hunts down Luka Doncic, in which Doncic describes him as the destroyer of the game. Leonard took full advantage to catch Doncic, especially when Doncic attempted to do a 3-point shot. Unfortunately, it was missed. The next thing Leonard did was to switch positions with Marcus Morris, so he could focus on Doncic.

To mercilessly hunt down Doncic is an effective tactic for the Clippers, as Doncic looked extremely tired by the time he was forced to play defense against Leonard and Paul George. LA Clippers coach Tyronn Lue commented that they have seen Doncic getting weary, so Leonard and George started to double team and took advantage of the switching.

Lue also commented that Leonard is more on having a defensive mindset on the match with the Mavericks for Game 6, but he was different today, as he begins to play the offense position aggressively.
