Reginald Shon Jackson was born on April 16, 1990, in Pordenone, Italy. His family later moved to England before settling in the United States when Jackson was five years old.They moved around for a bit before eventually settling in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

High School and College Career
Jackson attended Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In his senior year, he was considered a three-star recruit by Rivals.com. In 2008, he was named the Mr. Colorado Basketball.He received a number of offers from Colleges and he later committed to Boston College. He played for the team from 2008-2011. In 2011, he was named to the First-team All-ACC.
Professional Career
He joined the NBA during the 2011 NBA Draft. He was a first-round pick and the 24th overall in the draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder.Early in his career, he was assigned to play for the Tulsa 66ers. In 2015, he was traded to the Detroit Pistons and made his debut for the team in February of that year.
On July 20, 2015, the team signed him to a five-year deal worth $80 million. He suffered a knee injury in 2016 and received treatment for it, causing him to miss several games. In February 2020, the Pistons waived him, and a short while later, he signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
He made his first Western Conference Appearance for the Clippers in June 2021. He re-signed with the team again in 2021.
In February, he was traded by the Clippers to the Denver Nuggets. In 2023, he won his first NBA Championship title while he was with the Nuggets.
