The ATP Race, formerly known as the ATP Champions Race, is a year-long points competition on the men's tennis tour. It starts at zero at the beginning of each year.
Players accumulate points based on their results throughout the season. The top 8 players in the Race qualify for the prestigious year-end ATP Finals.
The Race creates an exciting season-long narrative apart from the official ATP Rankings.
This is the point ranking system of the ATP or Association of Tennis Professionals that starts at the beginning of the year. At the end of the year, the ranking system showcases the ATP entry system.
