Career
Novak debuted during the 2013 Bet-at-home Cup Kitzbühel and won against Lorenzo Giustino and Tihomir Grozdanov in the qualifying rounds, but he was defeated by Andreas Haider-Maurer during the main draw.He is close friends with Dominic Thiem, who grew up in the same town as him. During the 2016 Kitzbuhel doubles final, Novak partnered with Thiem and successfully won 3 wins. They also encountered each other during the 2010 Yucatan World Cup junior final, however, Novak lost to Thiem.
Another competition that Novak was involved in was during the 2020 Cologne-1, where he defeated World Number 17 Fabio Fognini. This is considered one of his biggest careers.
Novak made his Grand Slam debut in 2018. He was in the first round of the Australian Open and the US Open. He was also in the third round of Wimbledon that year, his best Grand Slam singles finish to date.
