Andrea Garcia
Andrea Lazaro Garcia was born on November 4, 1994. She is a Spanish professional tennis player with career-high WTA Rankings of 271 in the singles category and 292 in the doubles set. Both were achieved in 2020. Overall, she won 5 singles titles and four doubles in the ITF Circuit. Lazaro Garcia made WTA main draw debut at the 2021 International de Strasbourg.
In her junior years, she was named FUI Women’s Student-Athlete of the year. She ended the ITA All-American when she reached the highest final ITA singles ranking in the history of the program. During her amateur years, she was part of the quarterfinals in the singles game. She also posted a 17-1 overall record in the doubles category with Nerma Caluk. They remain undefeated in no. 3 spot. In singles play, she achieved an overall record of 26-5 and even won 10 straight wins. She reached no. 2 overall in the ITA rankings. She bagged the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championship.
Even before she hit 18, she also bagged titles like Junior Singles Champion Catalonian, ITF RUC Marrueceos 2011, Under-16 Marca National Singles Championship and Tennis Europe International U-16 Singles Champion.
Upon reaching the pro stage, she also achieved wins worldwide. She ranked ITF World Junior Rank No. 221 and WTA Ranking No. 651. In 2013, she claimed the singles championship in the Castilla La Mancha Tournament in Spain. She also won in Torrent, Valencia and in Spain.
