She started playing tennis as a young girl at a club owned by her parents in Prague. They later moved to Florida and she attended the Bollietieri Academy for a couple of years. Since turning pro in 2013, she has earned $2,601,258 in prize money.
Career
She began her professional career playing in the ITF Circuit. In 2018, she made her Grand Slam main draw debut at the US Open. In 2022, she achieved her best finish as a singles player in Wimbledon when she made it to the quarterfinals. In 2021, she had two quarterfinal finishes as a doubles player, first at Wimbledon and then at the US Open.
In the WTA 1000 Series, she made it to the semifinals of the 2019 Canadian Open. She also made it to t two back-to-back quarterfinal finishes at the Indian Wells Open in 2021 and 2022.
