Career
From 2009 to 2013, Delbonis won a number of Futures and Challenger titles. One of the best ATP finishes early in his career was the semifinal of the Mercedes Cup in 2011. He made his first ATP final in 2013, at the 2013 International German Open, where he got one of the biggest wins in his career when he beat Roger Federer in the semifinals. He eventually lost to Fabio Fognini.
His first ATP Title came in 2014 at the Brazil Open. In 2016, he was part of the Argentinian team who took home the grand prize at the Davis Cup. This year, he also achieved his career-high singles ranking of No.33 on May 9, 2016. He also made it to the third round and second round of the Australian Open and the US Open respectively.
2018 saw him make it to the first round of Wimbledon yet again. In his career, he has appeared in the first round of the grass-court grand slam a total of seven times.
One of the best Grand Slam finishes in his career came in 2021 when he made it to the fourth round of the French Open. He also made his return to the Top 50 in the world rankings this year.
