This win marks her first WTA Title this season and her fifth overall title. She thanked her team for their support following her win.

The 25-year-old player broke into the top 10 of the world rankings after her win. She is the new World No.9. On her way to the finals, she knocked out big names including the current Wimbledon champion, Elena Rybakina, in the opening round.
She took down Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals and Paula Badosa in the semis.
To win her match with Rogers, she hit 15 winners and 19 unforced errors in the opening set. She now has 32 tour wins this season.
This is Kasatkinas first title since she came out as gay a month ago. In an interview, the Russian also criticized her country for its treatment of homosexuality. She also called for an end to the war on Ukraine.
Although homosexuality is not illegal in Russia, spreading gay propaganda among minors is not allowed.
