Stefano Mauri is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Lazio. He plays as a midfielder and can also play as a winger and is reknowned for his dribbling and passing skills.
Stefano Mauri commenced his club football career at Italian club Brugherio when he was only 16 years of age. Two years later he moved to Media and in 2001 signed for Modena.
In September 2002 Mauri made his Italian Serie A debut for Modena against AC Milan and in 2004 was signed by Udinese on a co-ownership deal.
In 2006 Stefano Mauri was signed by Lazio. He has since established himself at Lazio and is now considered one of the better players in the Italian Serie A.
Stefano Mauri made his international debut for Italy in November 2004 against Finland and has since featured in five international matches for his nation.
