Premier League club Tottenham have decided to part company with Pochettino and have appointed former Manchester United and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as their new manager.
The Argentine was appointed as the Spurs boss back in the summer of 2014, and under him, the North London outfit have established themselves among the elite in the Premier League.
Tottenham have challenged for the Premier League title in recent seasons, and they also reached the final of the Champions League last season.
Spurs striker Kane has been a key player for the North London outfit under Pochettino, and he has sent a heartfelt message to the Argentine boss on Twitter.
Gaffer. I’ll be forever thankful to you for helping me achieve my dreams. We’ve had some amazing moments in the last 5 and a half years that I will never forget. You were my manager but my friend as well and I thank you for that relationship. Good luck with your next chapter! pic.twitter.com/u64RXV7wd4

Looking ahead
Pochettino is a big name in world football and has done a wonderful job at Tottenham, but Mourinho is a much bigger name and is a serial winner.
With Spurs still in the chance of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table and also in the Champions League, the chiefs probably wanted a new voice in the dressing room.
Tottenham will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
