Rene Lima is a professional footballer from Argentina who began his career with River Plate in 2003. He stayed with River for four seasons but only managed to play in 30-odd games in that tenure. In 2008, Lima decided to shift clubs, and went to Israeli side, Maccabi Haifa. After a short stay at the club, Rene Lima was back in Argentina with Gimnasia La Plata for a new season in the Primera Division in Argentina.
