Edinson Cavani is a professional football player. He started his career playing for Danubio. In 2023, he started playing for the Boca Juniors. He also plays for the Uruguay National Football Team.

Edinson Roberto Cavani Gómez was born on February 14, 1987 in Salto, Uruguay. He is a striker and he stands 184 cm tall.He started his youth career playing for the Danubio Football Club. Cavani stayed with the team from 2000 to 2005. He joined Danubio’s youth academy when he was only 12 years of age and progressed through the ranks.
Senior Career
Cavani started his professional club football for Uruguayan giants Danubio and made his first team debut during the 2006-2007 season.After scoring 9 goals in 25 league matches in the 2006-2007 season for Danubio, Cavani was signed by Palermo in January 2008. He made his debut for Palermo against Fiorentina at home in the Italian Seria A on March 11, 2007.
Cavani joined Napoli in the summer of 2010 and had an exceptional 2010-11 campaign.
He made his international debut for Uruguay on February 6, 2008, against Colombia and scored his debut too. He played for his nation at the 2010 World Cup finals and helped them win the Coppa America in 2011.
From Napoli, he signed with Paris Saint-Germain and was with the team from 2013 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he played for Manchester United, and from 2022 to 2023, he was with Valencia.
In 2023, he signed with Boca Juniors.
