Sulzeer Jeremiah Campbell, popularly known as Sol Campbell, is a England international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Portsmouth. He is a central defender and is a world class one.
Sol Campbell began his career at north London side Tottenham Hotspur in 1992. He quickly became a huge favourite among the Spurs fans and a club icon. He played for Spurs in 255 Premier League matches and scored 11 goals.
However he joined Spurs’ archrivals Arsenal in the summer of 2001 on a free transfer and this encouraged the wrath of the Spurs faithful who have since christened him as “Judas”.

Sol Campbell though was a hero at Arsenal and played 133 Premier League matches and score 8 goals until the summer of 2006. He won the Premier League and the FC Cup with the Gunners and also reached the final of the UEFA Champions League with the club in 2006.
Since 2006 Sol Campbell has been playing for Portsmouth and is a regular at Fratton Park.
Sol Campbell made his debut for England in 1996 and has gone onto play 73 times for his nation, scoring 1 goal. He played at Euro’96, 1998 World Cup,Euro 2000, World Cup 2002 and World Cup 2006.
