Premier League powerhouse Manchester United are on the verge of signing the former Arsenal central defender Sol Campbell, according to latest reports.
British tabloid The Sun reports that Man United could make a move for Sol Campbell. The 35-year-old has been off his game for some time now but in the wake of the injury crisis at United which saw midfielders Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher play in defence, Sir Alex Ferguson needs defensive shoring up in some urgency.
