Hugo Lloris is a France international football player who currently features for the Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Lloris developed at Nice’s youth academy and played for the B team between 2004 and 2006. He was drafted into the first team in 2005 and was on Nice’s books for the following three years, featuring in 72 matches.
In 2008 French giants Lyon signed Lloris from Nice and he became an instant hit. He could not win the Ligue 1 title during his time at Lyon, but did win the Coupe de France and Trophee des Champions in 2012.
After making 146 league appearances for Lyon, Lloris joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2012 where he soon became the first-choice goalkeeper.
Lloris made his international debut for France in 2008 and played for his country at 2010 World Cup finals and Euro 2012.
