Andrea Pirlo is an Italy international football player who currently features for Italian champions Juventus. He won the 2006 FIFA World Cup with Italy and is regarded as one of the best midfielders in Serie A for his excellent passing and playmaking skills.
Pirlo started to play football in Brescia in Italy. In 1994 he made the first team. Pirlo played in Brescia 1994-1998 playing 47 games and scoring 6 goals.
In 1998 Pirlo was signed byInter Milan and he stayed to 2001. During that time he only played 22 games and was mostly loaned to other clubs (Reggina, Brescia).

In 2001 Pirlo was signed by AC Milan. The first trophy Pirlo won with AC Milan was Coppa Italia in 2002-2003. In 2003 Pirlo won the UEFA Champions League final in the penalty shootout win over Juventus. In the 2003-2004 season Pirlo won the Italian League. In 2007 Andrea Pirlo won the UEFA Champions League with the 2-1 win over Liverpool FC and won Serie A with Milan again in 2011.
In the summer of 2011 Pirlo joined Juventus and helped them win Serie A in 2011-12.
Pirlo made his international debut for Italy in 2002 and has since featured in over 90 matches for his nation. He won the World Cup with Italy in Germany in 2006 and helped the Azzurri reach the final of Euro 2012.
