Friday represents the final day of the summer transfer window so there’s all sorts of deals happening, including Manchester City’s Nigel de Jong moving to AC Milan and Lyon’s Hugo Lloris heading to Tottenham.
Indeed, there’s plenty of possible final day moves, including Manchester City making moves for Benfica’s Javi Garcia and Rennes’ Yann M'Vila. De Jong has flown to Italy to undergo a medical with Milan and complete his move to Serie A.
France international Loic Remy has been linked with Tottenham who are short on strikers, while Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner is reportedly being chased by Juventus who missed out on Dimitar Berbatov.
Staying in Italy, AC Milan are allegedly keen on Genoa’s Luca Antonelli and Atalanta’s Federico Peluso, while Ajax defender Gregory van der Wiel is close to completing a move to French big spenders Paris Saint-Germain.
Chelsea are after Germany international Andre Schurrle from Leverkusen and if they land him, Liverpool are expected to move to sign Daniel Sturridge from the Blues on loan. Already the Reds have seen Andy Carroll leave for West Ham on loan.
