In the National Football League (NFL), a “physically unable to perform” (PUP) list takes note of players with football-related injuries during preseason. While a “physically unable to perform” player cannot join the team practice, the player can join team meetings as well as use the training and medical facilities. The two separate “physically unable to perform” lists are the pre-season PUP list and the regular-season PUP list.
