Player Profile, High School, and College Career

Trenton Jacoby Brown was born on April 13, 1993, in Bastrop, Texas, United States. Standing 203 cm (6 ft 8 in) tall, and weighing approximately 172 kg (380 lb), he was measured as the largest player at the 2015 NFL Combine in height, weight, and arm length.

He attended Westover High School in Albany, Georgia, where he excelled in both football and basketball. Brown began his collegiate career at Georgia Military College (2011–2012), earning NJCAA All-American honors, before transferring to the University of Florida. He played two seasons with the Gators (2013–2014), starting at both tackle and guard.

Professional Career

Brown was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Despite his late draft position, he quickly developed into a standout pass protector. In 2018, he was traded to the New England Patriots, where he switched from right to left tackle and started every game, helping the team secure a victory in Super Bowl LIII.

Following his championship season, Brown signed a record-breaking four-year, $66 million contract with the then-Oakland Raiders in 2019, making him the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL at the time. He earned his first Pro Bowl selection that same season. In 2021, he returned to the Patriots via trade and remained a key starter in New England through 2023.

In March 2024, Brown signed with the Cincinnati Bengals but suffered a season-ending torn patellar tendon in Week 3. After recovering, he joined the Houston Texans in 2025. Although initially released during roster cuts, he was re-signed and became a reliable starter late in the season.

In March 2026, the Texans signed him to a one-year, $7 million extension to remain a cornerstone of their offensive line for the 2026 season.

Career Highlights:

  • 2018 – Super Bowl champion (LIII)
  • 2019 – Pro Bowl
