Spencer Brown was born on February 28, 1998, in Lenox, Iowa, USA. The massive offensive tackle stands 203 cm tall, and carries a playing weight of 141 kg.

He attended Lenox High School, where he competed in an eight-man football league due to the school's small size. Showcasing elite all-around athleticism, he was a multi-sport star who played baseball, basketball, and golf, and ran track. On the gridiron, he primarily operated as a defensive end and tight end, earning First-team All-State honors as a senior after leading the state with 17 sacks while catching seven touchdowns.

Committing to the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), Brown underwent a massive physical transformation. He redshirted his true freshman year to transition from tight end to offensive tackle, adding nearly 80 pounds of muscle to his frame.

He started every game during his redshirt junior season in 2019, earning a Second-team All-MVFC selection. After being named a preseason First-Team FCS All-American, he opted to forgo his final collegiate season in the spring to prepare for the professional ranks.

Professional Career

Brown was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round (93rd overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Bills signed Brown to a lucrative four-year, $72 million contract extension in September 2024. Entering the 2026 offseason framework, Brown remains the undisputed starter at right tackle.

In February 2026, he demonstrated his commitment to the franchise by restructuring his contract, lowering his 2026 cap charge with the Bills.
