Reggie Brown is an American former professional football player who spent five seasons as a productive wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He has played for 4 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Reggie Brown was born on January 13, 1981, in Carrollton, Georgia, USA. The wide receiver stands 185 cm tall, and played at a listed weight of 89 kg.He attended Carrollton High School, where he was a highly decorated multi-sport phenom. On the gridiron, he captured Parade All-American honors while leading the Trojans to back-to-back state championship berths and a Class AA state title in 1998.
Committing to the University of Georgia, Brown suited up for the Bulldogs from 2000 to 2004. Though a string of nagging early-career injuries initially slowed his progression on a loaded depth chart, his ultimate resilience paid off.
He developed a lethal perimeter partnership with fellow wideout Fred Gibson.
Professional Career
Brown was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round (35th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft.Thrown directly into the fire as a rookie, Brown's role expanded dramatically mid-season following the highly publicized suspension and departure of superstar wide receiver Terrell Owens. He quickly earned the trust of quarterback Donovan McNabb, leading all NFL rookies in 2005 with 571 receiving yards and finishing second with 43 receptions.
His professional trajectory continued to ascend during a spectacular 2006 campaign. Operating as a primary target in Philadelphia's explosive West Coast passing scheme. Brown started 15 games and racked up a career-high 816 receiving yards alongside eight touchdowns, helping pilot the Eagles deep into the postseason.
His consistency was rewarded in 2007 with a career-high 61 receptions for 780 yards, prompting the Eagles' front office to sign him to a lucrative long-term contract extension.
In March 2010, the Eagles traded Brown to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for a future draft pick. He spent the 2010 offseason program competing for a roster spot in Tampa Bay before being released ahead of the regular season, officially concluding his active NFL playing journey with 177 receptions, 2,574 yards, and 17 touchdowns across 72 career appearances.
