Cameron Leon White is a right handed batsman and legbreak googly bowler who plays for the Australian cricket team. He has also played for Victoria, Somerset, Bangalore Royal Challengers and Australia A. He has been retained by the team of Deccan Chargers to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.
White debuted in One day International cricket on 5th October 2005 at Melbourne while playing against ICC World XI. He played his first Twenty20 match on 9th January 2007 at Sydney against England. In this match, he scored 40 unbeaten runs in 20 deliveries while hitting 1 boundary and 4 sixers. He bowled 2 overs, conceded 11 runs and took the wicket of Lewis. He took the catches of Flintoff and Collingwood. Australia won this match by 77 runs.
Till date, White has played in a single Test match against India at Bangalore from 9th to 13th October 2008. In the 1st innings, he scored 6 runs in 13 deliveries. He bowled 13 overs, out of which there were 2 maidens and conceded 39 runs without taking any wicket. In the 2nd innings, he scored unbeaten 18 runs in 14 deliveries. He bowled 18 overs, out of which 4 were maidens and conceded 49 runs while taking the wicket of Tendulkar.
