Daniel Harris

A qualified medical doctor, Daniel Joseph Harris is a professional cricket player too who plays for South Australia Cricket Team since 1999. This regular player for the South Australian cricket team has played a pivotal role in helping the Redbacks team win the 2010-11 KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. He has been bought by the team of Deccan Chargers to play at the IPL 5 season 2012.

For his outstanding performance he was also rewarded as the Australian Cricketers Association’s Twenty20 Player of the year. Recently, Daniel was picked up by the team of Deccan Chargers to play in the IPL during the 2012 IPL Players Auction.

Some of the major teams that he has been a part of include Australia, South Australia and more recently the Deccan Chargers team. Till date, Daniel has played in 58 First class matches, 49 List A and in 40 Twenty20 matches.
