Dribble drive motion

Dribble Drive Motion in basketball is an offensive strategy in basketball that spreads the floor. Four players position themselves around the three-point line, with one post player near the basket. The goal is to open driving lanes for a player to attack the hoop.

The ball handler looks to dribble drive past their defender into the lane. They can either shoot, pass to the open post player, or kick out to shooters. Quick decision-making and attacking the gaps in the defense are key.

This offense is also known as the Memphis Attack or "AASAA" (Attack, Attack, Skip, Attack, Attack). It was developed by Coach Vance Walberg and popularized by John Calipari. The constant threat of dribble penetration puts pressure on the defense and creates scoring opportunities.
