Double-Double is a basketball term that describes the performance of a player who scores or accumulates a double-digit number (10 or more) in 2 of the 5 statistical categories in a game.

These categories include blocked shots, steals, assists, rebounds, and points.

The most common Double-Double combination in the National Basketball Association (NBA) includes points and assists and points and rebounds. Reaching a double-double in steals or blocks is rare.

If a player makes double digits in three of the five categories, it is known as a Triple-Double.

Some of the famous double-double basketball players include Wilt Chamberlain, Tim Duncan, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Chamberlain holds the record for the most consecutive double-doubles with 227 as per the Elias Sports Bureau. The second and third most consecutive double-doubles also belong to him with 220 and 133.
