Crossover dribble

A Crossover Dribble is a kind of dribbling technique wherein a player who is dribbling the ball moves it from one hand to the other in a rapid motion while he changes directions.

It is a move where a player quickly bounces the ball from one hand to the other while changing direction. This technique allows a dribbling player a clear path to the basket or an open short jumper.

The player starts by dribbling in one direction, then takes a hard step to the opposite side. At the same time, they bounce the ball across their body to the other hand.

This sudden change of direction can catch defenders off guard, creating space for the dribbler. A good crossover can let the offensive player drive to the basket or take an open jump shot.

Famous NBA players who popularized the technique include Allen Iverson and Tim Hardaway.
