Henry Akin

Henry Akin was an American professional basketball player who played in both the National Basketball Association NBA and American Basketball Association ABA. His career was cut short due to injuries, but he later transitioned into scouting.

Akin was selected as the 11th overall pick in the second round of the 1966 NBA draft by the New York Knicks.

His professional career lasted from 1966 to 1968, during which he wore number 10. He began his NBA career with the New York Knicks from 1966 to 1967, followed by a stint with the Seattle SuperSonics from 1967 to 1968.

He concluded his professional career with the Kentucky Colonels of the American Basketball Association (ABA) in 1968.
