NBA Career

He was selected by the Brooklyn Nets during the 2017 NBA Draft. He was the 22nd overall pick during the first round. He debuted for the Nets at just 19 years and 182 days, making him the second-youngest to do so after Derrick Favors.

In 2021, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a multi-player deal that involved trading James Harden to the Nets. In 2022, Allen was named an NBA All-Star. He was also the NBA All-Star Weekend Skills Challenge Champion.
