High School and College Career
He attended Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana. Later, he committed to play college basketball for Michigan State University and he was there from 2012 to 2014.
In 2012, he was named Indiana Mr. Basketball. That year, he was also named a McDonald’s All-American.
In 2013, he was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. In 2014, he was also named to the First-team All-Big Ten.
Professional Career
Harris turned pro in 2014. He was the 19th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2014 NBA Draft, selected by the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls then traded him to the Denver Nuggets and he played for the Nuggets from 2014 to 2021. In 2021, he started playing for the Orlando Magic. As of the start of 2024, he still plays for the Magic.
