The Entry System in tennis is a ranking method used by the ATP and WTA tours.
It determines which players can enter tournaments directly. Players earn points based on their performance in tournaments over the past 52 weeks.
The better a player performs, the more points they earn. These points decide a player's ranking.
Higher-ranked players get automatic entry into big tournaments. Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek often top these rankings.
Unlike the Race rankings, Entry System points reset to zero at the start of each year.
