Kristina Barrois
Kristina Barrois is a female professional tennis player from Urexweiler, Germany. She was born on September 30, 1981 in Ottweiler, Germany to parents Waldemar (father) and Hilde (mother). She has two sisters named Carmen and Simone. While nobody else in her family plays the sport, Barrois is currently coached by Patrick Schmidt and is represented by her agent Bernd Franke. She began playing tennis when she was just around 10 years old when she chose to play the game herself. Her first few attempts at playing tennis were done at a tennis club in her hometown.
Barrois is known to be a hard court player. On 2004, she participated in her very first event of her career at the ITF/Bielefeld in Germany. During the said event, she managed to win her very first singles title. By the following year, Barrois took the season by storm and won amazing seven singles titles plus three doubles titles while playing on the ITF Circuit.
In 2006, she played in her first five Tour main draws. However, she did not make it past the first round of each of the events including the U.S. Open and Wimbledon. She managed to reach seven qualifying rounds on Tour, but did not perform remarkably on any event. However, she did win two titles for singles and a doubles title on the ITF Circuit.
When 2007 came around the corner, Barrois played on three more Tour main draws. She did manage to reach up to the second round at Budapest, but she fell twice on the first round of the other events. She also did not get past the qualifying round eight times in other Tour events. However, she did not end her year winless as she won one doubles title on the ITF Circuit.
Over the course of her fresh career, 13 singles titles and 7 doubles titles on ITF only but none on Grand Slam Tournaments. She currently ranks on No. 87 of the WTA Tour for singles.
