Borna Ćorić was born on November 14, 1996, in Zagreb, Croatia. He currently splits his time between Croatia and his residence in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Career
In 2013, Ćorić started as a junior tennis player when he joined the Australian Open and French Open junior events.His most notable performance was at the US Open where he defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis and won his first junior title. At the same time, he became the World Number 1 in the junior rankings.
He made his Grand Slam main draw debut in 2014 and made it past the opening round before being dropped in the second round at the US Open. The following year, he was in the main draw of all four Grand Slams.
He was also instrumental in getting Croatia into the finals of the Davis Cup in 2016. In 2018, he led them to a win.
Also in 2018, he was in the semifinals of the Indian Wells Masters and was in the finals of the Shanghai Masters.
He had some trouble in 2021 and was absent from most events but he bounced back in 2022 and he won the Cincinnati Masters title. In 2023, he was in the semifinals of the Madrid Open and the quarterfinals of the Italian Open.
