Career

After turning pro, Ofner did not make his ATP debut until 2017 at that year’s Wimbledon. He made it through the qualifying rounds, besting players including Jay Clarke. During the main draw, he beat Jack Sock and Thomas Bellucci.

In August 2017, he played in the Generali Open Kitzbühel. He made it to the semi-finals before he lost to Joao Sousa.

From 2017 to 2021, he struggled to make it past the qualifying rounds in the Grand Slams. But in 2023, he made it through the fourth round in Roland Garros, which led him to reach his career-high singles ranking of Number 69.

In Wimbledon that year, he also made it to the main draw.
