Nuno Borges is a Portuguese professional tennis player who reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 30 on September 9, 2024.

He is the current No. 1 player from Portugal. Borges won his first ATP singles title at the 2024 Swedish Open in Båstad, where he defeated Rafael Nadal in the final—becoming one of just five players to ever beat Nadal in a clay court final.

Nuno Borges was born on February 19, 1997, in Maia, Portugal, and currently resides in Portugal. Standing 185 cm tall and weighing 75 kg, he plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand.

He turned professional in 2019 and is coached by Rui Machado and Hugo Anão. Borges played collegiate tennis at Mississippi State before launching his professional career.

Borges achieved a combined ITF juniors ranking of World No. 44 on April 13, 2015, marking him as one of the top junior players globally before transitioning to college and the professional tour.
