Egor Gerasimov is a professional tennis player from Minsk in Belarus. In February 2020, he reached an ATP Career-high ranking of No.65. He turned pro in 2010 and aside from his professional tennis career, he has also represented Belarus in several international competitions including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where he made it to the second round of the men’s singles event. He has also played for Belarus in the Davis Cup.

Career

Gerasimov made his ATP debut a few years after turning pro, in 2014. This was at that year’s Shenzen Open. He was a wildcard at the event.

He did not debut in a Grand Slam event until 2019 at the US Open. In 2020, he made it to the main draw of the Australian Open, the French Open, and again at the US Open. Early that year, he reached his career-high ranking of No.65.

In 2021, he appeared at Wimbledon, making it as far as the second round. In that year, he also made appearances at the Melbourne Park and Roland Garros.
