Galina Voskoboeva is a Russian-born Kazakhstani tennis player who reached career-high rankings of World No. 42 in singles and No. 26 in doubles. She won five doubles titles on the WTA Tour and also had significant success on the ITF Circuit.

Galina Olegovna Voskoboeva was born on December 18, 1984, in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. She stands 183 cm tall and she plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. She attended University RUPF in Moscow, where she graduated in 2005.

In 2008, Galina changed her nationality from Russian to Kazakhstani, and she resides in Astana, Kazakhstan. On April 15, 2021, she married Jonathan Gully, a physician, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Professional Career

Voskoboeva turned professional in 2002. She achieved her career-high singles ranking of World No. 42 in May 2012. She won three singles titles on the ITF Circuit, at tournaments in Mont-de-Marsan in 2003, Cuneo in 2006, and Casablanca in 2011.

Her greatest successes came in doubles, where she won five titles on the WTA Tour and one title on the WTA Challenger Tour.

She achieved a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 26 in August 2012. Her best Grand Slam doubles results include reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 2007 and 2012, and the French Open in 2008 and 2013. She was also a prominent member of the Kazakhstan Billie Jean King Cup (formerly Fed Cup) team, with a record of 28–14.

Voskoboeva retired from professional tennis in 2021.
