Viktoriya Tomova is a Bulgarian professional tennis player with a career-high singles ranking of World No. 71, which she reached in May 2023. Most of her professional success is in the ITF Circuit where she has 17 singles titles and 12 doubles titles.

Viktoriya Konstantinova Tomova was born on February 25, 1995, in Sofia, Bulgaria. She stands 172 cm tall and she is right-handed with a two-handed backhand.

She turned pro in 2009 and has since earned around US$1.5 Million in prize money.

Career

Tomova turned pro in 2009. Most of her early career was played in the ITF Circuit. She did not make her Grand Slam main draw debut until 2018 when she was in the first round of the Australian Open and the second round of Wimbledon.

In 2016, Tomova competed in the Hungarian Ladies Open and made it to the finals before losing to Elitsa Kostova.

In 2021, she made her Masters 1000 debut when she played in the opening round of the Dubai/Qatar Open. The following year, she made her maiden Indian Wells appearance but she did not make it past the first round.

In 2022, she had her first Grand Slam win when she made it to the second round of Wimbledon. In 2023, she was in the second round in Dubai and she was also in the second round of the Miami Open.
