Career

Giron’s career did not start to pick up until around the 2020s when he started to make top better finishes at the Grand Slam events. In 2020, he made his Grand Slam main draw debut at the Australian Open and finished in the first round. He followed that up with a second-round finish at the US Open.

The following year, he only made it to the first round of the Aussie Open again, but he managed to last until the third round of the French Open, the second round of Wimbledon, and the second round of the US Open again.

In the same year, he represented the US in the Tokyo Olympics. He made it to the 2nd round of the men’s singles category.

2022 was one of the best years of his career Grand Slam-wise. The American made it to the second round in Australia and the second round in England. As a doubles layer, he also made it to the third round in the Aussie Open and the first rounds of Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
