Tatiana Perebiynis

Tatiana Perebiynis is a former professional tennis player from Ukraine. She achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 55 in April 2008. She has won six WTA doubles titles, along with four ITF singles and four ITF doubles titles.

Tatiana Perebiynis was born on December 15, 1982, in Kharkiv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. She stands 173 cm tall and she plays right-handed with a double-handed backhand.

Her father, Yuriy Perebiynis, is retired, and her mother, Alla Lihova, is an economist at a bank. She was coached by her husband, Dimitriy “Dima” Zadorozhniy, whom she married on October 15, 2005, in Kharkiv.

Perebiynis had a notable junior career at Wimbledon in 2000, reaching the girls' singles final and winning the girls' doubles title that same year.

Career

Perebiynis turned professional in 1996. Throughout her career, she achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 55 in 2008 and reached the singles third round at the French Open in 2004 and US Open in 2008, as well as the third round at Wimbledon in 2004.

She also reached the second round of the Australian Open in 2005 and 2008.

In doubles, Perebiynis had significant success, winning six WTA doubles titles. Her most notable performance in Grand Slam mixed doubles was reaching the final of Wimbledon in 2005.

In women's doubles, she reached the semifinals of Wimbledon in 2006.

Perebiynis retired from professional tennis in 2010.
