Julia Glushko
Julia Glushko is a female professional tennis player born on January 1, 1990 in Donetsk, Ukraine. She is currently residing in Modi’in, Israel. Keren Shlomo and Amir Hadad in Tel Aviv train this Israeli tennis player.
Glushko was introduced to tennis at the age of 4, as her parents were both tennis coaches. She plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand and favors hard surfaces. She played her first event in the Israeli ITF circuit in 2004.
She won one ITF singles title and had her first WTA qualifying match at Tashkent in 2007. In the following season, she won three ITF doubles titles. She continued to play in the ITF circles and she won four singles and three doubles ITF titles in 2010.
Glushko had her maiden WTA main draw event at the 2012 US Open. In 2013, she debuted in the top 100 and stayed in the list until the season’s end. She was able to reach the quarterfinals at Rio de Janeiro and Bogota in 2015.
