Olga Danilović was born on January 23, 2001, in Belgrade, Serbia, where she resides. Standing 182 cm tall, she plays left-handed with a two-handed backhand.

Her father is former basketball star Predrag Danilović, and her mother, Svetlana, is a sports reporter. Olga began playing tennis at age six, inspired by her athletic family.

Junior Career

Danilović was a top junior, reaching No. 5 in the ITF junior world rankings in January 2018. She won three junior Grand Slam doubles titles: the 2016 French Open (with Paula Arias Manjón), 2017 Wimbledon (with Kaja Juvan), and 2017 US Open (with Marta Kostyuk).

In singles, her best results were the quarterfinals at the 2017 US Open and third rounds at the 2016 Wimbledon and 2017 Australian Open.

Career

Since turning professional in 2016, Danilović has steadily climbed the WTA rankings. She made history in 2018 by becoming the first player born in the 2000s to win a WTA singles title, capturing the Moscow River Cup as a lucky loser. In 2022, she reached the final at Lausanne and won her second WTA doubles title in partnership with Kristina Mladenovic.

Danilović enjoyed her best season in 2024, reaching the fourth round at Roland Garros and winning her first hardcourt WTA title in Guangzhou.

She made her first Grand Slam fourth round at the 2025 Australian Open, defeating top-10 player Jessica Pegula en route. In March 2025, she won the WTA 125 Antalya Challenger and reached the Rouen final in April. Danilović is also a two-time WTA 125 singles champion and has seven ITF singles titles.

She has been a key member of the Serbian Billie Jean King Cup team, holding a 12–8 record and earning the Fed Cup Heart Award in 2018 for her undefeated singles debut.
