Zhu Lin (朱琳) was born on January 28, 1994, in Wuxi, China. She currently resides in Beijing, China. She stands 173 cm tall and she is right-handed with a two-handed backhand.

Career

She started her career playing in the ITF circuit. In 2014, she made her Majors singles main draw debut at the China Open. She made it to the second round. That same year, she also made it to the first round of the Wuhan Open as a doubles player.

She did not make her Grand Slam main draw singles debut until 2015 when she was in the first round of the Wimbledon. She also made it to the second round of the Indian Wells Open that year.

In 2023, she made her best Grand Slam finish when she made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open. In February 2023, she won the Hua Hun Championships in Thailand. It was her first tour-level singles title. Back in 2019, she won the Jiangxi International alongside doubles partner Wang Xinyu.

Zhu also has one WTA Challenger singles title, won in December 2021 and one WTA Challenger doubles title won in 2017.

In 2022, she was in the opening rounds of the French Open and Wimbledon. In 2023, she made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open and the third round of the US Open.
