The match ended with 6-3 6-3, notably Minaur’s second Atlanta title since 2019.
The 23-year-old tennis star had claimed his 6th career and he is most thankful for the crowd who witnessed the match.
Before his victory, he defeated Adrian Mannarino in the quarterfinals and Ilya Ivashka in the semifinals. During the final round, it is evident that De Minaur controlled throughout the game, as he happened to break Brookby’s two points and saved another 5 break points for himself.
Although Brookby was determined to outplay De Minaur, still he was unsuccessful in doing so since he couldn’t get ahead of De Minaur.
Alex de Minaur is currently on the ATP World Number 21 with accumulated points of 1585. De Minaur was known for his impossible agility which earned him the nickname “Speed Demon.” He also had a strong fighting spirit and a huge fan base.
